Our history, certifications and authorizations
ABOUT THE COMPANY
STRKAN s.r.o. was founded on 22 May 2012.
Today STRKAN focuses on three areas:
- industrial automation and robotics,
- design and manufacture of special-purpose machines and equipment,
- manufacturing for rail vehicles (trains, trams).
Our production and administrative facilities are located in Město Touškov, near Pilsen, Czech Republic. Our covered production area totals 2,500 m². Our in-house design department works with SolidWorks, Siemens
NX and CATIA.
Production is organized into several work areas:
- material preparation,
- material testing laboratory,
- sub-assembly welding shop,
- final assembly welding shop,
- machining shop,
- final machine assembly.
STRKAN holds the following certifications: EN 15085, EN ISO 3834, EN 1090 and EN ISO 9001.
STRKAN is a member of ACRI (the Association of the Czech Railway Industry) and the MECHATRONIKA Cluster.

WHAT MAKES US DIFFERENT
During its existence, our company has acquired its own unique know-how in the field of design, construction and production of single-purpose machines and equipment.
We are not sellers, but manufacturers. This means that we think through each project in detail from the perspective of functionality, manufacturability, long-term safe use, but also from the perspective of acquisition and operating costs.
Thanks to our own production capacities and certified production, we provide long-term guarantees for our products.
Thanks to our own materials testing laboratory and trained employees for the implementation of a range of non-destructive tests, we bear full responsibility for our products, which we do not renounce.
All our key customers have been cooperating with us for a long time and repeatedly. We are in contact with them even after the delivered equipment is put into operation, we are interested in how the machines work and how satisfied the customers are with them. We deal with any requests for modifications and repairs directly and immediately.
Construction
Conceptual design and 3D model, customer consultation, concept refinement, detailed concept development, definition of key purchased components. Detailed 3D model and final design, calculations and simulations.
Production of assemblies and subassemblies
Production according to prepared drawing documentation, intensive communication with suppliers of special components.
Assembly and revival
Assembly in our own premises according to the final 3D model, installation of purchased components, hydraulics, pneumatics, electrical installation, programming of the control system.
Commissioning and handover of the machine
Transport to the customer, installation at the site of future operation, operator training, handover of documentation including certificate of conformity.

Customers and users of our machines and equipment are companies engaged in the production and service of transport equipment, components for the energy sector, companies in the plastics industry and many other branches of the manufacturing industry.
